About Me

My parents grew up in Grainger County and I was born and raised in East and North Knox County. So I am very familiar with this area and our surrounding counties. I worked for a State Farm agent in college and was hooked on State Farm! After graduating from the University of Tennessee, I was given the opportunity to open my agency in Jefferson City, Tennessee in 1995. I grew up around hard working parents and that work ethic continues to thrive in me to this day. I have been so lucky to have a family that has always supported me and encouraged me so that I feel there is nothing that I cannot accomplish if I put my mind to it.

Being a State Farm Agent has blessed me in so many way. One of the biggest blessings for me is educating customers about their insurance needs and helping them protect their assets for which they have worked so hard. The next biggest blessing is giving back to our community. I am passionate about helping the youth in our community including sponsoring a local basketball team and other school sports to helping schedule guest speakers to mentor our high school students. I love giving and doing things quarterly for all of our Jefferson County schools/teachers, our fire fighters and police officers. I am also the founder of “Teddy McGuinn Day" (in honor of my late husband) in which we donate stuffed animals to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital twice per year. It is two of my favorite days of the year to give these gifts to sick children. They are just so remarkable and it fills my heart beyond measure. I also created and sponsor “Bark in Centennial Park” in Jefferson City where all proceeds benefit the Jefferson County Humane Society. It’s an annual event with food trucks, vendors and lots of fun for the kids and their four-legged friends. It's growing bigger and bigger every year ...hope you can join us!

If I am not working, I love spending time with my family, friends and our special fur babies - Little and Archie. My family is my BIGGEST blessing of all. We love relaxing at the lake, traveling and just spending quality time at home. I also enjoy interior design and remodeling older homes. For me it is so rewarding to see rooms/homes transformed.
